The Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge project has been signed between the two governments.

Phnom Penh: The Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge Project was signed between the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Republic of Korea on December 9th, 2022 at the Peace Palace under the high presidency of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.


The Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge project will cost about USD 245,909,000 with the entire bridge divided into two phases. The first phase will connect the Old Market area, the night market of Phnom Penh to Chroy Changvar and the second phase will be built from Chroy Changvar to Arey Ksat.


By the way the current Concessional Loans provided by the Government of the Republic of Korea will make a significant contribution to the Royal Government of Cambodia’s efforts to accelerate economic development and further expand the existing good relations between the both countries and both people.
