Phnom Penh: Cambodia will have another largest national hospital in Phnom Penh in the next six months, which will provide all services to people across the country. The presentation of the achievements of the new National Hospital was presented by the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Youk Sambath, during a visit to the new National Hospital Techo Peace, accompanied by Phnom Penh Governor Khuong Sreng and other relevant officials of the Ministry of Health. Techo Santepheap National Hospital is located in Sangkat Kork Kar, Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh, built on an area of nearly 8 hectares. The hospital has a total of 9,593 beds and a total of 11 buildings, including: Building A, S, E, H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, H7, T1, T2, each building. But there are important functions, especially T1, T2. According to the overall layout, T1, T2 are buildings for the treatment of critically ill patients.
Secretary of State for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Youk Sambath, confirmed that this large national hospital is scheduled to be completed and officially opened in June 2023.
The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health said, “Techo Santepheap National Hospital will be the largest national hospital in Cambodia, which will provide all services to people across the country, especially patients in all 13 districts in the capital. Phnom Penh, as well as patients from Kandal and Kampong Speu provinces, which border Phnom Penh.In the case of large-scale infectious diseases, this large national hospital can afford to receive patients without any worries, especially with modern medical equipment in accordance with the standard.”
The Secretary of State added that this large national hospital is an initiative of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, in the near future, Samdech will plan to visit the progress of the construction of the National Techo Hospital. Peace too.
