Phnom Penh: Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has announced that he is infected with Covid-19 after a positive test. This announcement was made on the official Facebook page of Samdech himself this morning, May 12, 2023. In a post on Samdech’s official Facebook page, Samdech wrote, “Dear compatriots!

I would like to inform my compatriots that after a little abnormal health, I was tested positive for Covid-19. I also recommend family and neighbors to get tested and monitored as well. For now, I follow the rules of health by isolating myself and exercising. However, I can still work from a separate room in my home as usual.

In the same letter, Samdech Krala Hom Nou also asked for forgiveness for the cancellation and absence from various work programs for a short time. Samdech stated that Samdech will update the information on Samdech’s health problems according to the health rules to the compatriots until Samdech recovers.
