National Road No. 31 and No. 33 in Kampot and Kep Provinces with a Length of More Than 106 Kilometers

Kampot: National Roads No. 31 and No. 33 in Kampot and Kep Provinces were inaugurated today under the high presidency of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia. The groundbreaking ceremony for the rehabilitation and upgrading of both national roads with a total length of more than 106 km took place on December 30, 2022, one day before the end of 2022.

National Road No. 31, approximately 53.53 km long, is the junction of National Road No. 3 from Bek Kous point to Kampong Trach market, with the crossing point of Takeo and Kampot provinces. National Road No. 33 is about 52.57 km long, from National Road No. 3 at km 148 and 100, which is in Kampot province to the border of Cambodia and Vietnam. Officials at the Ministry of Public Works said that the two national roads are important economic links that play a role in facilitating the movement of people, tourists and the transportation of all kinds of goods and agricultural products, including Rice, rubber, pepper, fishery products, salt and other fruits to local and international markets as well.
