Kampong Chhnang: The Governor of Kampong Chhnang Province, Mr. Sun Sovannarith, paid a courtesy call on 42 newly recruited soldiers of the Royal Gendarmerie and trained them at the Phnom Chum Sen Reak Reay Gendarmerie Training Center in Kampong Chhnang Province at the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Gendarmerie Headquarters.

The ceremony, which took place on April 19, 2021, was also attended by the Commander of the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Brigadier General Sak Sarang, and the leaders of departments around the province.

The Commander of Kampong Chhnang Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Brigadier General Sak Sarang, said at the ceremony that in Kampong Chhnang, 42 qualified candidates have been announced by the Ministry of National Defense to join the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. The Royal Gendarmerie officially became a member of the Royal Gendarmerie and went to train at the Phnom Chum Sen Reak Reay Training Center in Samaki Meanchey District, Kampong Chhnang Province.

Speaking on that occasion, the Governor of Kampong Chhnang Province, Mr. Sun Sovannarith, congratulated all the young people who volunteered to join the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces within the framework of the Royal Cambodian Gendarmerie, who qualified and passed the exam.
