Pursat Provincial Governor Gives a Week to the Department of Water Resources

Pursat: The governor of Pursat province has given a week to the relevant officials to solve the problem of flooding of people’s houses and 50 hectares of agricultural land that has not been cultivated for more than 3 years in Talor commune, Ta Lok Sen Chey district. The order from the Governor of Pursat Province was made at the request of nearly 30 families in Talor Village, Talor Commune, Talor Sen Chey District, and during his visit to inspect the actual situation on the 26th. Seeing this problem, the Governor requested the Provincial Department of Water Resources and Meteorology together with the district and commune authorities to use all means to open the waterway deep and wide in order to avoid any flooding by this practice.
