Phnom Penh : The Russey Keo Ballet Bridge in Phnom Penh was reopened today after being repaired by professional officers after being suspended for about two weeks. A steel ballast bridge in Russey Keo, crossing the Tonle Sap River, connecting the satellite city of Chroy Changva to National Road 5, was hit by a sand barge at the gas station, causing the ferry to sink and actually stick to the bridge pillars on November 20, 2022. The Phnom Penh Municipal Administration to prevent accidents has decided to temporarily suspend traffic on the steel ballet bridge from the day of the incident. According to the Department of Public Works of Phnom Penh, after the safety test, the steel ballet bridge will be put back to normal traffic from today, December 4, 2022 at 17:00.
