Phnom Penh: A Cambodian-American man who killed his wife with an electric shock has reportedly fled to Thailand as of the evening of February 25, 2023.Please be informed that the murder incident where the husband took the electric wire to kill his wife happened on February 24, 2023 in Borey KC, Chak Chrouk village, Sangkat Samrong Krom, Khan Por Sen Chey. In that incident, the victim, 38-year-old Keo Srey Mom, was beaten and electrocuted by her husband, 68-year-old Moulnet, a Cambodian-American, and fled on a motorcycle.
According to the victim’s mother, prior to the incident, she heard an argument between the victim and her husband. According to the daughter, who was involved in the conflict, her mother was beaten by her father and used electric shocks to transport the body. But after being shocked by the people who came into the house to watch the incident, the assailant pulled the Honda Scooter and fled.The body of the victim was found lying in the bathroom, but he was unconscious and put it on the sofa to find out that the woman was dead.
It is unknown at this time what he meant by “murder”. But the first step, authorities suspect that is caused by jealousy. The suspicion is based on information from the family that the wife lives in Cambodia and the husband lives in the United States. Husbands often quarrel over jealousy when they come to Cambodia and sometimes quarrel online. Suddenly, at 7:30 in the morning on February 24, 2023, the husband did not inform in advance and suddenly arrived in Cambodia.
