Kampong Chhnang: The administration of Kampong Chhnang province organized the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the National Independence Day on November 9 and the birthday of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. The ceremony took place on the morning of November 3, 2023 at the Independence Monument in Kampong Chhnang.
The ceremony was presided over by the Governor of Kampong Chhnang Province, Mr. Sun Sovannarith, Chairman of the Provincial Council, Mr. Siv Run, Member of the Kampong Chhnang Constituency, Ms. Ke Chanmony, and was invited by the Provincial Chief, Provincial Officials Also from provincial councilors, deputy governors, department heads, government officials, units around the province, the three types of armed forces, teachers, students in large numbers.
The Governor of Kampong Chhnang Province, Mr. Sun Sovannarith, highlighted the National Independence Day, which was held now in the sense of expressing a happy and grateful spirit, celebrating the historic day that the whole national unity force of Cambodia has won. Complete independence for the full homeland of the French colony on November 9, 1953. This great national achievement is under the glorious crusade of His Majesty King Norodom Sihanouk, His Majesty the King Father, the Father of Independence, Territorial Integrity and National Unity of Cambodia, His Majesty the King, the Father of Peace, the Reunification and Reconciliation of His Nation. Dedicated his most brilliant body and intellect to the struggle within the framework of the Royal Crusade to demand independence for Cambodia from French colonization and proclaimed independence on November 9, 1953. This brave heroism is a good example for the next generation of Cambodians to build, protect the integrity and develop the nation to be more prosperous in the future.
Mr. Sun Sovannarith said that the Cambodian people will always remember the Royal Mission for the Motherland and the Khmer people of His Majesty King Norodom Sihanouk, His Majesty the King Father, Independence, Territorial Integrity and National Unity of Cambodia.
