The bodies of Cambodian Blue Hat soldiers who lost their lives in Mali have returned to Cambodia

Phnom Penh: The body of the Cambodian Blue Hat Army, Lieutenant Colonel Phoeuk Chivoan, who served as the Deputy Commander of the 729th Airport Engineering Squadron, who lost his life in Mali, has been repatriated to Cambodia. The body of Lieutenant Colonel Phoeuk Chivoan was delivered to the Cambodia International Airport at more than 12 midnight on February 28, 2023. The death of Lieutenant Colonel Phoeuk Chivoan has led to the death toll of Cambodian troops in peacekeeping missions under the United Nations umbrella increased by 11 by the beginning of 2023.
